We are always looking for new talent to serve as event managers at our events. Out of the Box Fun provides photo booth rentals for corporate parties, weddings, community events and festivals, as well as private parties. We currently positions open for two event managers in the Seattle area.
Event Manager
This position is an hourly paid position at $20-25 per hour plus performance bonuses for each event. Employees earn one hour of paid sick leave for every forty hours worked.
Responsibilities
As an event manager with Out of the Box Fun, you are the face of our company and represent us at each event. You will be responsible for assembling the photo booth and connecting it to the printer, assembling the backdrop, setting up the prop table, and otherwise ensuring that the event space is properly set up and maintained. You will be responsible for managing the photo booth software, testing the photos prior to the event, and ensuring on-going quality of our photo output.
In addition, you will engage with guests at each event to encourage them to fully experience the photo entertainment that is provided. Often, this includes suggestions for poses, encouragement to be a little silly, and maintaining an organized prop table. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues during the event, such as printer malfunctions.
After each event, you are responsible for breaking down the set-up and properly storing the equipment. If you are a driver, you are also responsible for transporting the equipment to and from the event.
You will receive full training for the position. It is absolutely crucial that you arrive on time to each event.
Typical Schedule
Non-Driver: Arrive 90-60 minutes prior to event, 3 hour event, 30 minute break-down; total 4.5 hours
Driver: From Out of the Box Office travel up to 1 hour to event, arrive 2 hours prior to event, 3 hour event, 30 minute break-down, travel up to 1 hour back to office to drop-off equipment; total 7.5 hours
Requirements
- Age 21 or older
- Possess a valid driver's license in state of Washington and own your own vehicle
- Lift and move at least 40 pounds (equipment weight)
- Stand for at least 3 hours at a time during an event
- Speak fluent English
- Available during evenings until at least 1 am and on the weekends

Experience Manager
This position is an hourly paid position at $23-27 per hour plus performance bonuses for each event. Employees earn one hour of paid sick leave for every forty hours worked. This position is guaranteed at least 10 hours a week and for events when there is a photo booth event, anticipate a 15 hour work week. There is a high likelihood that the hours could be expanded as the company continues to grow.
Responsibilities
As an experience manager with Out of the Box Fun, you are the face of our company and represent us at networking and photo booth events. You will be responsible for business development activities such as meeting potential corporate clients, attending networking events in person and virtually, and communicating with potential clients to educate them on our photo booth services. You will also be responsible for entering contact information into our contact management database.
In addition, when we need coverage for photo booth events, you will be responsible for assembling the photo booth and connecting it to the printer, assembling the backdrop, setting up the prop table, and otherwise ensuring that the event space is properly set up and maintained. You will be responsible for managing the photo booth software, testing the photos prior to the event, and ensuring on-going quality of our photo output.
